If you are someone curious about what the Bible is all about, or if you are looking for something to supplement a daily reading plan, The Bible, Simplified is the perfect solution. This book by Zach Windahl reminds us to go back to the basics of why we believe what the Bible says. It intertwines the stories we know and love but provides biblical context that we may have overlooked. In the beginning there was always chaos, but God provided a way to partner with Him. In our own story, we always have the choice to partner with Good or Evil. Even when we think all hope is lost, God can use some of the most unsuspecting people for His Glory. The Bible, Simplified reminds us that putting your faith in Jesus is about participating in the kingdom of God now. This means we also have a role to play and our job is to help bring heaven to the here and now. The more we choose to focus our attention on righteousness and obedience to Gods word, the more we will be in line with his will and provision.
