Pete5 Stars Out Of 5Really helpfulJuly 15, 2021PeteQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5The author provides a nice guide and commentary to help read the bible in small bites. No, this is not heavy theology - the author states that she hasn't been to seminary - but it is enjoyable and helps clarify and notice some parts that can be difficult and easily overlooked. I am so glad that I found this!
LuAnn5 Stars Out Of 5Perfect TitleJune 30, 2021LuAnnQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I have found this to be easy to read and understand each chapter. I have purchased other Commentaries that seem confusing, however this one is in everyday language that makes the scripture clearer.

WindyGirl5 Stars Out Of 5Helpful InsightsApril 21, 2021WindyGirlThe Bible Recap has been a great addition to my Bible study time. Cobble helps the reader understand traditions of the past that shed light on Old Testament Scripture. She shows how OT Scripture points to the coming of Christ, even in passages not generally seen in that light. I have not gotten into the New Testament readings yet.
There are links available on her website to give more information on some passages, such as drawings of the Tabernacle. She also has a podcast you can follow if you choose.
Note: This is NOT a devotional book. It is a study aid for reading theough the Bible.
Jean5 Stars Out Of 5Wonderful Bible StudyApril 14, 2021JeanWe recieved this as a gift from our daughter and have now bought 3 more for our Pastor and a few other people. It helps to explain so much about the Bible that some people find so hard to take. Although there are times she tries to be too hip by calling Abraham -Abe and Jonathan-Jon. Other than these small things it's wonderful. I highly recommend it.
