The Bible Recap: A One-Year Guide to Reading and Understanding The Entire Bible was written by Tara-Leigh Cobble, creator and host of The Bible Recap Podcast. This is a big hardcover book about the size of a bible, and it weighs around three pounds.

If you are looking for a way to stay motivated while reading the bible, this is a fantastic resource. It has made me excited to read the bible every day. Check out the podcast, the book itself isn't a word for word transcript of the podcast, but it is pretty darn close!

My husband and I listen to the passage over breakfast, then read the guide. We've been in God's Word all our lives, yet this brings new thoughts, perspectives and discussions to our table. No better way to start the day!

I used Tara's book as a companion to the daily Chronological Bible reading I was doing. The additional insights I recieved from her material enhanced my understanding and appreciation of God's Word.

The author provides a nice guide and commentary to help read the bible in small bites. No, this is not heavy theology - the author states that she hasn't been to seminary - but it is enjoyable and helps clarify and notice some parts that can be difficult and easily overlooked. I am so glad that I found this!
