Excellent Book Introductions, study notes, cross references, articles, index, and concordance.
The Fire Bible is one of the few study Bibles that does not minimize the Holy Spirit's role in the life of the believer.
Hebrews 2:4 tells us that our salvation is attested to by signs, wonders, miracles, and gifts of the Holy Spirit. The Fire Bible does not shun away from or downplay this Scriptural truth!
RWHAge: 35-44Gender: Male4 Stars Out Of 5ESV Fire Bible SoftcoverOctober 27, 2017RWHAge: 35-44Gender: MaleQuality: 2Value: 5Meets Expectations: 4Thank you Hendrickson Publishers for sending me an ESV Fire Bible Softcover. I'm not required to publish a positive review - my opinion is strictly that.
The bible is full of goodies. Tons of articles / book intros / etc. More study notes than you can shake a stick at - and all seemly focused on a more "Pentecostal" bent. Quite refreshing to read this since I grew up AOG.
Font size is just right for my eyes - but some may find it a bit small - such a subjective thing.
Binding (since it is a softcover) is adequate and should last OK. I definitely prefer a sewn binding / hardcover / etc. just for longevity. Just be mindful that the softcover version won't last long - so if you are buying - spend what you need to get a good faux-leather version...or at least hardcover.
The articles are immensely thorough - but to be honest placed in the most odd of places. Example - if you read the Book of Acts - you have two articles just placed in the middle of Acts 1 and Acts 2. I suppose this makes sense since most of the Pentecostal tradition thrives on the Book of Acts - but placement (again in my opinion) could have be done so the views of the authors weren't just slammed in the middle of the actual Bible text and chapter areas. Again - merely a preference on my part and just a different approach.
If you are looking for a lovely color bible with tons of maps / drawings / and pop-up art - this won't be an eye-candy version for you. However, if you are seeking something in-dept and very much "Holy Spirit" focused - then this is definitely something that serves the pneumatology aspects of any scripture version-to-date quite well.
I personally look forward to using this bible with other side-by-side versions I have such as the ESV Study Bible from Crossway / Holman NKJV Study Bible / Nelson NKJV Study Bible / etc. It is always a joy to have these study resources to dive into God's Word.
Anyway - enough said. Hope this is helpful to anyone who wishes to read this.
Be blessed & keep reading God's Word!

Joe4 Stars Out Of 5Wonderful study tool, very helpful!June 1, 2017JoeQuality: 4Value: 4Meets Expectations: 4I enjoy the Pentecostal notes throughout this Bible as well as the Arminian Theology, most study bibles around are Calvinist in theology, but I believe strongly that every Christian should thoroughly study both and maybe even Molinsim as well (I have not examined molinism in depth personally). I recommend this study bible to every follower of Jesus Christ, especially one who has received the Baptism in Holy Spirit. --- Holy Spirit is alive and active just as He was on the first Day of Pentecost! (I would argue even more so now that we have the completed Scripture). The Bible is Holy Spirit's library and He cannot contradict Himself.
Father, restore every spiritual gift to every part of the Body of Your Son! Yes! In Jesus name!
Bless you guys!
