Linda Mitkevicius5 Stars Out Of 5September 29, 2010Linda MitkeviciusI love the book, ...Craft Foam and Felt! It not only gives easy to follow instructions for beautiful crafts, but lessons in character traits to instill in the young (and old), and opportunities leading straight into God's plan for salvation. The discussion questions are great for more in-depth study of each topic or precept. The projects themselves prove to be tried and tested.
Grace Bourgeois5 Stars Out Of 5September 17, 2010Grace BourgeoisThis book is a great tool to use in children's Bible classes. The instructions are clear and materials needed inexpensive. The children enjoy making the crafts and I believe it helps them to understand and remember the lesson being taught. What a great way to learn about GOD and have fun too! I recommend this book to all teachers and parents too. This is a fun learning activity for the family to do together. I am looking forward to more of Donna's Craft books in the future.

Tell us a little about yourself. I have enjoyed teaching Sunday school for all ages for over 10 years. This prompted me to write my first two books: More! Bible Crafts on a Shoestring Budget: Chenille Wire and Straws AND More! Bible Crafts on a Shoestring Budget: Craft Foam and Felt. Also, I write Sunday school curriculum for Lifeway Resources. In the near future, I plan on writing additional craft and/or game books to be utilized in Sunday school, homeschool or just on rainy days.
What was your motivation behind this project? God prompted me to create an additional craft in addition to the one suggested in that Sunday's curriculum. I realized the children were having fun making the craft as they learned Christian values. This encouraged me to create additional crafts each week until I had enough for a book.
What do you hope folks will gain from this project? Learn to love and live as Jesus did.
How were you personally impacted by working on this project? I have a chance to see the smiles on children as they create the crafts as well as see what the Christian values bring to the children's spiritual growth.
Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists? Billy Graham and Joel Osteen.
