I've been married for more than five decades--yes, we've celebrated our fiftieth anniversary--so I thought that this book wouldn't have much to offer me. Boy, was I wrong! I appreciate the way the author clarifies points that I would have missed on my own. For instance, on page 39, he explains the use of the word, "filly" used by Solomon in 1:9. Again, looking at The Song of Solomon, chapter 4, Solomon praises his love's eyes, hair, teeth, lips, mouth, temples, neck, and breasts (152-157). Expanded explanations help me understand the compliments.

More than a Bible study, more than a look at love relationships, more than a guide to a successful marriage, this volume is one I would recommend to engaged couples, newlyweds, and to all married no matter the length of time. In addition, troubled marriages and even those tetering on divorce will find wisdom in this book.

Thank you to FaithWords for my copy.

Dr. Jeremiah has explained Solomon's Song of Songs so well.

The book helps me understand the many differences between men and women, even though my wife and I will celebrate our 48th wedding anniversary in March.

I wish we had the benefit of this book 48 years ago.

    Shalom,

    Graham.
