Tell us a little about yourself. Dave is the president of Silver Birch Ranch ministries. Dave travels and speaks in churches and conferences around the world. He has a passion for helping people be intimate with God, their spouse and children.
What was your motivation behind this project? The Intimate Warrior book series was created to help individuals learn how to be intimate with God. The reader is asked to spend 21 hours in each book, reading the verses, thoughts and then encouraged to journal their thoughts.
What do you hope folks will gain from this project? We are looking to change the nation by encouraging one million men to take on the challenge of being intentional about their intimacy with God, their wife and their children.
How were you personally impacted by working on this project? Time alone with God always produces intimacy. This project has allowed me to personally deepen my relationship with God while giving me the excitement of helping others do the same.It has given a new hope for a better future for our nation.
Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists? V.Raymond Edman, Richard Wager, Dietrich Bonhoeffer and William Gurnall have been extremely influential in my life and thinking.
Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know: Satan does not fear your mind, body or skills. His only fear is that you will be intimate with God. Without intentionality here you have no real hope.
