“Between Us Girls by Trish Donohue is the resource moms have been looking for to help them connect with their growing daughters. Trish weaves together meaningful Bible study, helpful questions, and life applications in a way that is provoking but not preachy. My wife is excited to start using it in our home.”
Marty Machowski, Family pastor; author of The Ology and The Gospel Story for Kids books and curriculum
“The concept behind this book is brilliant in its simplicity. Trish Donohue’s discussion guides, with their wisdom and transparency, are exactly what women need to make these conversations happen. This will not be a book that sits on your shelf. It will be a well-worn and beloved treasure between you and the young women in your life, be it a daughter, niece, granddaughter, or friend.”

One of my biggest fears is getting this girl-mom thing wrong, and this book is such a valuable resource. The 26 conversations included in this devotional type book cover everything from feelings to clothing, friends to fears. This books serves as a natural conversation starter between moms and their daughters, and brings the Bible in as a resource for each topic. I feel this can be adapted for daughters of most any age and still be appropriate. I highly recommend. *I received a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.*
Kristieupstate NYAge: 25-34Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5an excellent resourceJuly 3, 2016Kristieupstate NYAge: 25-34Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5My daughter is turning 8 (8!) next week....it seems like I was holding her in the hospital, I cannot believe how fast these years have flown by! Reading Trish's book made me think about how much time I have had with my daughter and yet how many conversations and talks and moments I want to and need to share with her still before she is out on her own and not as dependent on me. I love the layout of this book as it is divided into 26 chapters that included Bible passages to read together, questions to ask each other and talk about and the groundwork for Bible truths and principles to be instilled in my daughter's life. My favorite part about this book is that there is a variety of conversation and it really encourages conversations and leads to further discussions on topics that may be glossed over initially. I think this is a great resource for those whom want to deepen discussions with their daughters or for those whom may be struggling to communicate and need a little extra boost.
