John-Andrew Kay5 Stars Out Of 5August 22, 2009John-Andrew KayI had the privilege of meeting Stan Telchin in 1990. At that time I had already read Betrayed and was blown away by its content. I too, at that time, was a life insurance salesman as Stan had been when he began his journey to the Foot of the Cross. I hasten to add that I have purchased and given Betrayed as a gift about 50 times. I pray to live long enough to do it another 150 times or more. It is the most compelling testimony I have ever read! Stan was not lost in the sense of the world's standards but what he found was the Pearl of Great Price and he has laid his life at the foot of that Cross that he was drawn to, and, like the watchman on the wall of Jerusalem, he has never since kept his peace. Rather he has become a modern day Paul the Apostle. Thank you Stan, from the bottom of my heart! To everyone else, please read this book, it will only change your life.

Ruth Ann Logan5 Stars Out Of 5December 12, 2007Ruth Ann LoganExcellent Book!!! Throughout the years my pastor has referred to this story, how the Jewish daughter, away at college, came to know the Lord Jesus Christ, and the father & mother were horrified. The father didn't want to scare his daughter away, so he decided to study the Bible so he could battle her beliefs with what she believed in. He never was able to do so. This goes to show what happens when we begin to study something that we don't believe in. When something is contrary to your beliefs, you start reading it, or hear it, and slowly you are being convinced. I've often heard say that we must know what the world believes and how they think so we can convince them to believe in the Lord. I don't think so!! The Lord is the one who saves, we are to simply preach Jesus, and Him crucified. What happened to this man was life changing - for the good. But it should remind us that we are to walk softly in this world and be lights to lighten the Gentiles. And, don't condemn Jews! We needs to have hearts for them that they would see Jesus as Messiah! So this is highly recommended, I was thrilled to finally get to read the story myself after hearing about it so long.

JR5 Stars Out Of 5July 13, 2010JRCompelling journal of the family's struggle to understand the depth of their loving God and the deity of Jesus. Telchin did extensive research that Christians and Jewish will appreciate.
