It is my pleasure to introduce to you "Toxic Vows". A single ambitious doctor Carson Madison is captivated by Brinley, a beautiful young writer. The Church is set for the wedding of a lifetime. But when Carson stands alone at the altar, heads turn. Angelic Brinley arrives late. She delivers a heartfelt apology that brings a standing ovation. But with a mystery guest at the wedding, a shocking appearance by a handsome gentleman at the reception, and a disturbing conversation is overheard, Carson's sister Myra believes that there is more attached to Brinley than a halo and wedding jitters. Strange calls, conversations, and potentially dangerous and damaging events began to take place that lead to Carson's arrest. Carson's attorney informs Carson that he believes that Carson is in more than love. As a praying mother takes to her knees, the truth surfaces. Had this match been made in heaven? Enjoy, E.
What was your motivation behind this project? With several life-changing events of my own including the loss of my husband I found to interpret pain in a different pattern. I search to help others and I found strength through the expressions of writing. Realizing that in the middle of our idea of perfection, we all are susceptible to pain and mysteries. Toxic Vows releases the impact of uncertainty and rejection, yet proves that devastation does not have to destroy.
What do you hope folks will gain from this project? My prayer is the reader finds understanding, that you are not alone. You are more valuable than your circumstances and pain. That it is fine to ask Why? Why me? Only through asking a question do we find an answer. Whatever pain or betrayal speaks "You are not enough" God whispers "you are greater than."
How were you personally impacted by working on this project? In sharing my thoughts, words, and expressions I found healing for heartaches of my own. I did not give them to you, I shared them with you. So I personally realized that life is a journey, that we walk together.
Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists? The powerful woman of my life. My mother Evelyn, my grandmother, Mama G, and Grandma Allison. My Lord Jesus has and continues to walk every step of this journey of life with me. My Grands, that always makes life make sense. Me. I am proud of myself. You the reader, you inspire me.
