Tony5 Stars Out Of 5Excellent Children's Bible !January 22, 2017TonyQuality: 0Value: 0Meets Expectations: 0This is a wonderful beginner's bible! This bible is so valuable. I have used it for all three of my kids. They love the stories in this bible. The stories themselves are true to the scriptures, and the illustrations are perfect for young children and appropriate. This bible will help children know the key bible stories and to promote learning about and loving our God. I highly recommend this bible to all kids. I even find myself reading through the stories for myself from time to time. Excellent
Gladys5 Stars Out Of 5Happy I bought it!January 16, 2017GladysQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5Now that I have lil ones of my own I wanted a children's bible, a way to introduce God's word. I first came across this bible at a Goodwill store, I flipped through it and I thought perfect!! But when I got home & started reading it to my lil ones, there were pages torn out, so I bought a brand new one here online and we are very happy!! Thank you God :)
Jacquie5 Stars Out Of 5Best little BibleDecember 12, 2016JacquieQuality: 0Value: 0Meets Expectations: 0This is a perfect, first time bible, to introduce children to God's Word. Right at their level and the pictures are fantastic artwork. I use this for helping my little ones in Sunday School understand the truths of God's teachings for them in a visual/audio way. We read it together and play games with questions to what was just read. I wished they had had a bible like this when my own children were little.

Alaphas55 Stars Out Of 5The Beginner's Bible: Timeless Children's StoriesOctober 6, 2016Alaphas5Quality: 0Value: 0Meets Expectations: 0As the mother of a young child, I am constantly on the lookout for new books for my girls. When I saw this Bible, I was immediately interested and it didnt disappoint. This book is hardback and sturdy. There are bright color pictures on every page, and a large font size for younger readers. They didnt put so much text on a page that the child loses interest before the parent can get through it all.
Another aspect that I liked was that they didnt stray as far from the Bible as some Bible storybooks go. There is a table of contents in the front that shows the Old and New Testament stories. There is also a small Bible reference at the beginning of each short story. Its a general reference, but its enough to empower an older child to look the story up.
One complaint that I have for this book, is that it skips over some of the stories that parents might not want their child to read. For example, they skipped the story of Cain and Able. Now some parents may not be ready for their little one to read about the first murder, but I believe you cant have a book without sin in it and expect someone to appreciate Jesus. Diluting sin also dilutes grace. I have seen some childrens Bibles that handle that topic delicately, but still include it.
With that aside, I love this book, and I am excited to see my husband add it to her nightly Bible story time.
