Before the Door Closes: A Daughter's Journey with Her Alcoholic Father

    Tell us a little about yourself.  When I was young (probably no older than six), I felt my heart soft toward God and doing His will. At eleven, I received Jesus Christ as my personal Savior. I have a lifetime of experiences testifying that God is faithful.

    What was your motivation behind this project?  My father was abused and neglected in two nursing homes. I wanted people to realize what can happen to the elderly in nursing homes and also things that I did to stand guard for my father. While caring for him daily, I had to "unlearn" behavior from having been raised by my alcoholic father.

    What do you hope folks will gain from this project?  Healing for the hurting heart, encouragement for the caregiver, and love for the alcoholic
