My Bedtime Story Bible is a childrens board book. It is suggested for children ages 4 to 8 years of age (although I believe it is never too early for children to experience books, even if they are unable to read them on their own). It includes several stories relating to actual stories within the Bible, while providing a theme of different ways the characters go to sleep or have their bedtime. Some of the stories it covers are Adam and Eve, Noahs ark, David, Daniel, Jesus birth, and others. It does reference actual Bible events, but rather on a fictional account of what could have happened before they went to sleep; told in the perspective of a childs view and understanding. Each story ends with a bedtime reflection under the heading Tuck in.
My Bedtime Story Bible introduces children to Bible characters, while showing them the different ways that they entered bedtime. The illustrations and choice of colors used throughout My Bedtime Story Bible are beautiful, engaging, and attracting to young children. After reading a couple of stories to my 1-year old son, he took over and became quite fascinated by every page; turning and turning each page over and over again.
I recommend My Bedtime Story Bible for all young readers.
