We already had several individual Beatrix Potter stories and wanted to read the rest of Beatrix's collection. It is a beautiful book that will certainly be an heirloom in my family. I appreciate that the stories are all in chronological order. My older children (8 and 10) pick up on references to the other stories throughout the book. There are plenty of color illustrations to hold the attention of my youngest child (4). We read a story a night together as a family. I absolutely would recommend this book. I bought this book for my 5 year old granddaughter because I love the Beatrix Potter animal stories. It is a beautiful edition! My granddaughter will have a collector's quality book to cherish her whole life. i would definitely recommend this book.

It's the best book for children. Very good quality, beatiful and colored images.
