Edna Tollison5 Stars Out Of 5Book with larger pictures to colorFebruary 23, 2017Edna TollisonQuality: 0Value: 0Meets Expectations: 0Be Bold is a color and devotional book with the pictures that are to color larger than most. My grandchild wants to color in my books but the pictures are too small. think that he can color in this one and I can read the devotionals to him. Will be a great moment to enjoy each other. Book has empty pages in back for you to take notes or draw your own pictures. Thanks so much to Tyndale Publishing for sending this book for my honest review.
Milk Donor MamaOhioAge: 25-34Gender: female2 Stars Out Of 5Not a good valueFebruary 22, 2017Milk Donor MamaOhioAge: 25-34Gender: femaleQuality: 2Value: 2Meets Expectations: 2Be Bold: a Coloring Devotional by Ellen Elliott is a combined devotional and coloring book geared toward tweens, teens and young adults. This book has a devotional on one page and a picture to color on the other page.
The designs to color are well done. Each of the spots is big enough to put some color into. The devotions are simple and encouraging.
What I did not like is that you would not be able to tear out the page that you colored. The pages are not perforated. And the next day's devotional is on the back of what you just colored. The pages are thin, so I wouldn't recommend using markers or pens for the coloring. There are not that many devotionals or pages to color. The end of the book has a lot of pages with just lines on them. This book is not that great of a value because of those issues.
I received a free copy of this book from the publisher.
Ruth5 Stars Out Of 5Be BoldFebruary 22, 2017RuthQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5BE BOLD is a devotional coloring book written by Ellen Elliott. Each spread has a devotional and Bible verse on the left, with a coloring picture and saying (taken from the verse) on the right. There are about 30 spreads, plus a few lined journal pages at the end.
The book is about 9x9 square--big enough to be easy to use, yet small enough that it doesn't take up a lot of space. The coloring pages are somewhat of an abstract design, but not overly complicated. You can put effort into it, but not feel overwhelmed by all the tiny details.
This looks like a really neat book, and would make a great gift--it scores major brownie points with little sisters.
This book was given to me by TYNDALE PUBLISHERS according to thier blogger program. I was not required to write a positive review.
