i like how she show the tools that the enemy uses to keep us believing a lie that he created from the beginning. And that we are chosen by God from God, And that we are in the heart of God.

Having just finished this book this week, I recommend it. It is one of those books one reads while writing notes in the margins. It is a book I'll be rereading!

I'm thankful to God for inspiring this writing and to Joyce Meyers for writing it.

Take a Look into the Playbook of Satan

Satan is a liar, a deceiver, a counterfeiter. BUT! Do you know that he is a very skillful tactician, and a cunning strategist. He will show you just enough truth to get you to believe his lies. One of his greatest and most successful schemes is to deflect all blame from himself and onto God. He is so successful at this that many people, many Christians included, do not even believe Satan is real. Many of those that do believe he is real have neither any clue as to his tactics, nor understanding of his playbook.

Joyce's new book "Your Battles belong to the Lord" is a very timely and inspirational work which presents the reader with a clear, concise, and focused perspective pertaining to the daily battles that are faced, and the spiritual warfare that believers must employ. This is a very powerful handbook when used by Christians who want to win, overcome every challenge, and live the more than abundant life triumphantly! Joyce is a gifted author who is able to present difficult subjects in a very simple way which allows readers to understand the content. Readers are able to embrace the message conveyed within the pages and gain a confidence that comes with simplicity. Joyce shows how our God of grace is on our side, loves us deeply, and wants us to rest in the finished works of His son. When we enter that rest after doing what we can do, God is ready, willing, and able to do that which we cannot do. WE CANNOT LOSE WITH GOD!

This book is a MUST READ and I highly recommend that it be kept readily accessible to be used as a handy reference tool.

We are going to have battles but Meyer assures us we are in a place where we have victory in Christ. "When we let God fight our battles, we always win..." (Loc 73/3383) God will fight our battles for us, Meyer says, but we must do our part. She has written this book to help us know our enemy, his nature, his tactics, how to recognize and defeat him and to know our responsibilities in assuring the victory.

What I like most about Meyer is that she is so practical. She wants us to be educated and equipped. It is no surprise that she writes about the importance of our thoughts, keeping them in line with what God says is true of us. We are to take our thoughts captive and I like that she is realistic in saying this takes time and effort. She reminds us of the spiritual battles before us and helps us understand how to use our spiritual weapons, such as the armor of God.

Meyer is so encouraging and so positive. Reading this book, even though it is on the battles we face, is really faith building. Her stories are encouraging and her exploration of Scripture is accurate. I like that she relies so much on the truth of God's Word.

I recommend this book to Christians who want to understand more about the battles we face and how to put ourselves in a place of victory. Meyer gives us the tools we need to use to see victory. "No matter how difficult our challenges are," she writes, "if God is with us, we have all we need to win every battle." (Loc 64/3383)

I received a complimentary egalley of this book from the publisher. My comments are an independent and honest review.
