However, we struggle to follow through on this, instead lapsing into our default state of surrendering to the flesh. But Scripture promises that, through the Spirit, we can walk in victory over our fleshly nature.

Through examining and comparing the lives of Jacob and Esau, this course will explore the essential truth of living in the Spirit and will answer the questions of why and how we can do this. We will look at how Jacob went from being a deceiver to being a man of God, and how we can similarly overcome our own fleshly natures to pursue life in the Spirit. Living in the flesh is not to be accepted as normal. Instead, living in the Spirit ought to be the daily rhythm of our lives, and it comes with great joy and expectation! This course presents the truth of understanding our condition, the benefits of life in the Spirit, and how to overcome this daily battle against our flesh.
