Angela Caires, DNP, FNP-BC, NP-C, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who is currently both a distinguished professor and a part-time practicing nurse practitioner. She works as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the College of Nursing at The University of Alabama in Huntsville, and she also works part-time as a nurse practitioner at The Community Free Clinic in Huntsville, AL. She previously served as a project director and nurse practitioner at the Huntsville Mobile Health Unit for the Homeless in Huntsville, AL, a part-time nurse practitioner for H.A.P.P.I. (Healthy Adolescent Pediatric Physician, Inc.) Pediatrics in Huntsville, AL, and as a full-time nurse practitioner for Premier Family Medicine in Huntsville, AL. She also served as the program coordinator for her universitys Post-Masters FNP Certification Program.
Yeow Chye Ng, PhD, FNP-BC, NP-C, NRCME, AAHIVE, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with clinical expertise in Advanced Family Practice Nursing. He is currently a practicing Family Nurse Practitioner for H.A.P.P.I. (Healthy Adolescent Pediatric Physician, Inc.) Pediatrics in Huntsville, AL as well as an Associate Professor at the University of Alabama in Huntsville, where he teaches a wide variety of clinical courses (at all levels of difficulty) that prepare students to become practicing family nurse practitioners. He also previously taught many nursing courses for the University of Alabama at Birmingham. In addition, he is professionally affiliated with several of the major nursing organizations across the United States, including the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board (AANPCB), the National League for Nursing (NLN), and the North Alabama Nurse Practitioner Association (NANPA).
