This book is an eye opener. It outlines what is essential to understand the Baptist way and its distinct way of faith. The writer is clear and to the point. A must read for anyone interested in what Baptist stand for.

This is a fantastic book. Rather than repeat what has already been clearly written by Herschel Hobbs, E.Y. Mullins and other brilliant Baptists, Shurden reminds Baptists of their responsibility as "free and faithful Baptists" and the legacy of freedom Baptists of the past have stood for.
