Rob Knight2 Stars Out Of 5This book presents one dimension of a three dimensional issue.June 28, 2016Rob KnightQuality: 3Value: 2Meets Expectations: 2Dr. Brown does a good job of presenting one side of this controversial and complex issue which has confounded sincere believers for centuries. The most confusing aspect of this issue stems from the seemingly contradictory concept of God's sovereignty versus man's free will. No other single statement has caused so much confusion and division within the church. We must understand that the phrase "God's sovereignty versus man's free will" is a trap cloaked in the form of a logical contradiction. It is a misstatement of reality designed to lure you into a false truism: either God is not sovereign or man does not have free will. Once you accept this contrived, forced-choice concept as truth, you are doomed to massive confusion in which every possible answer forces you to distort some other truth. Calvinism and Arminianism have valid points but provide only part of the picture. Both fail to adequately address the sum of scripture in a way that does not contradict scripture. They provide only one dimension to what is a three dimensional reality. The only correct way to resolve this issue is put forth in the book recently released called, "Three Dimensional Salvation: The Missing Truth that Changes Everything."
