David Husley2 Stars Out Of 5A good startJuly 29, 2021David HusleyQuality: 4Value: 4Meets Expectations: 1Concise, readable, and for the most part based on scripture, HOWEVER, the big elephant in the room for me was that early on, the author makes it very clear that he believes in the (false) doctrine of eternal security. He even dedicates an entire chapter attempting to explain (and not very clearly nor convincingly I might add) why, if we have eternal security, Gods Word gives soooo many warnings to belivers in the NT about straying, falling away, or not having access to the Kingdom of Heaven. Overall the authors intentions are good, and he DOES make some valid points about how our witnessing and sharing of the gospel message have fallen terribly short, however, the work lacks some fundamental, biblical, and foundational truth regarding salvation. Simply put, salvation is not an instantaneous act as the book suggests its a conversion that happens over time. Gods Word clearly shows this in many places. The author also fails to adequately address the topic of apostasy, which is real, and also biblical. Go, see what Peter, Paul, James, and the other NT writers had to say about it.

DB5 Stars Out Of 5Well written with great Scriptural supportApril 9, 2021DBGreat read and helps add understanding to the heart behind the change/decision that has been made. Based on the life impact and fruit that come from a new heart, along with where we place our trust, allow one to find where they should put their confidence.

joe2 Stars Out Of 5stop asking JesusMarch 22, 2021joeQuality: 5Value: 4Meets Expectations: 3I will not read any more books by this author. I found it confusing and at times contradictory. I feel it was poorly written because many thoughts were left incomplete.
