This is the third year we're using Artistic Pursuits. We're half-way through this title and thoroughly enjoying it. My children love it and so do I. It is so easy to read from. It is also easy to teach even if I have no arts background. We have all learned from the history and techniques taught in the curriculum.

Now that my kids are a little older, I supplement the content with videos and images of the artists we study just so we get a deeper insight into the life and motivations of the artists. The book itself is complete and easily adaptable for a multi-level homeschool. It's worth the price.

I purchased all three early elementary books to use in our homeschool. The lessons are short, but educational. My kids and I enjoy looking at the selected art piece each week and talking about it. The highlight is, of course, the featured art project for the week. We're having a great time exploring the different mediums. My kids are collecting their work in a artist portfolio and having an art show for our family in the spring to showcase all that they have worked on for the school year. Very happy with this program!
