Volume 7: Art of the Modern Age is a tasteful introduction to Modern art for younger children. Students will be introduced to Modern Masters that gave positive creative messages in their art. Textbook lessons feature artwork by Seurat, Van Gogh, O’Keefe, Kandinsky, and more as well as examples of student artwork, prep notes for teachers, and hints for teaching outside of the home environment. Children will work with painting with painting with acrylics and constructing sculptures in foil, plaster cloth, and modeling clay.
