Jenny5 Stars Out Of 5ExcellentFebruary 18, 2019JennyQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5My 8th grade daughter completed this course in one semester with very little prodding. It's a challenging course, but also entertaining and manageable. She read the book and basically taught herself. I helped clarify once or twice and gave her the tests. She loved it and gives it a 5 star rating. Of course, now she's catching all our fallacies. It's a great course for highschool and college too, but also reasonable for middle school.
Mimi T4 Stars Out Of 5The Art of ArgumentationOctober 23, 2014Mimi TQuality: 5Value: 4Meets Expectations: 4This is a subject that is being taught in our Co-op and we are just loving it. The kids are learning lots, especially now with the political ads on TV.

However, the concepts and Latin vocab are much too complex for Jr. High students. Suggested level should be for 11-12th graders. Preview before purchasing.

She read through it in a short time because she enjoyed it so much. It's a great book for any student with appropriate reading skills, but it's also useful enough to be used in a college class. Excellent book!
