I have bought extra copies to share with family and friends and highly recommend it to you.
There are a lot of great books out there on the grace message, and I continue to read as many of them as I can find. It's great to gain new insight into the gospel of God's amazing grace by reading the many great authors that are out there today. Among them is C.D. Hildebrand, author of "Are We Preaching Another Gospel?"
What I absolutely love about this book, and why I recommend it to others, is:
(1) the simple, easy to understand writing style of the author. C.D. Hildebrand writes in a very loving, intimate and teachable manner.
(2) the systematic approach to sharing this message. The author introduces us to the gospel, and with each chapter unfolds its message of grace.
(3) the effort given to helps us unlearn many of the things we have been taught throughout our lives that have prevented us from understanding, knowing and enjoying the true message of the gospel.
C.D. Hildebrand has written a wonderful book, and has made wide use of scripture to show us the good news. If you make one book purchase this year, this is the one to get.

Tell us a little about yourself. I am a wife to one, mother of three, and grandmother to nine. I was an elementary and then high school teacher for many years, and am the co-founder of Studies in Grace and Faith in which I serve with my husband, David, as an administrator and instructor. SGF is a teaching ministry sharing the gospel, the good news of God's grace, with believers.
What was your motivation behind this project? This book came about from the concern I have about what we, the church, are teaching. For years, my husband and I unknowingly taught a mixed message, another gospel. God opened our eyes to see this error, and the book was written to help set free others who have added law and works to grace and faith.
What do you hope folks will gain from this project? Many believers today are miserable, and they don't know why. For the most part, they are doing almost everything they've been told to do to know God better and to please Him. Without knowing it, they have traded a life which God provided for us meant to be lived by grace through faith, for a miserable existence of laws and formula. They love Jesus; they absolutely do, but the religion of Christianity as it is commonly presented today, is weighing them down and keeping them from experiencing the joy and love they once knew. My hope is God will use this book to help them regain their first love and be set free to truly LIVE this LIFE they've been GIVEN.
How were you personally impacted by working on this project? The impact of writing this book happened for me as I began to hear back from others who read it. Each time I heard that someone was set free by reading it, my heart fills with joy. It was worth every effort put into writing this book to know that God is working in the hearts of His people through reading it.
Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know: If you long to return to the simplicity that is in Christ, this book will help you return to your first love; namely, His love for you.
