Catherine Stachowiak5 Stars Out Of 5April 15, 2010Catherine StachowiakI bought this to go with the pieces I had of the Beautiful Feet History of Science curriculum. The BF unit study guide is based on Scripture. The study uses this book a lot, among others, including The Way Things Work, so I needed this book. I am happy with the product.
Ann Plante'5 Stars Out Of 5March 14, 2008Ann Plante'This is a great supplement to any science history course. It is also a great tool for those students who are reluctant to science in general. Adults woud enjoy this book.
Allison5 Stars Out Of 5July 3, 2007AllisonOur family did this book as a read aloud. I'm not sure we ever went through a book so fast! The illustrations make the concepts easier to grasp. This book goes beyond just Archimedes and talks about life in Syracuse at the time.
