Bryce3 Stars Out Of 5Commentary Can Be TroublesomeSeptember 19, 2019BryceQuality: 4Value: 3Meets Expectations: 2From the material perspective, this study Bible is great. The leather is top of the line, the pages hardly have any ghosting, and they are a little thicker than your average Bible due to that reason. The gold lining around the inside edges and indexing makes this Bible beautiful. However, what's found inside changed my opinion a little. I really liked that, compared to most NASB's, the text was verse by verse as opposed to paragraph format. It comes with cross references, maps and Character profiles. All of that is good, however what I failed to understand was that the commentary in this Bible seems to be written to the world as a whole, and not just to Christians, which is ok, except at times it uses phrases like "make sure" and "be sure" and "are you sure" that you have experienced certain things pertaining to salvation. To the Christian, this could cause them to question their faith and the means by which they are saved, when I don't see salvation Scripturally being that much of a process. Therefore, I would not recommend this Bible to any young Christian or someone who is struggling with their faith. This comes as a disappointment, as I worked in Christian retail for years and sold many of these Bibles ignorant to the negativity of the notes concerning one's salvation experience and propensity of making one question whether they "really got it" or not. In fact all of the so-called Life Application notes are written that way. They dont necessarily tell you how to apply the Scripture, but make you question whether you are doing things the right way without any clear direction. (Are you doing this/that?) Therefore, I rate this Bible as a 3 wholly.

The links to other relating scripture is an immense help (reminds me of my old KJV Thompson Chain Bible) and the commentary has increased my understanding of certain scriptures. I am just getting familiar with it and am so pleased. Will be using this for all my Bible study.
Cody4 Stars Out Of 5Excellent commentary and translation but TINY font!May 29, 2019CodyI was happy with just about everything in this Bible but my main problem was the TINY 8 pt font and strange text layout. It's really difficult to read and I'm 18 years old currently with 20/20 vision. The text is tiny and thin, and the letters are really jammed together. The notes are even smaller but still preach a good message. Probably a bit too safe to learn anything new though. The NASB 1995 is great!

Gini4 Stars Out Of 5NASB Life Application BibleJanuary 2, 2019GiniQuality: 4Value: 5Meets Expectations: 4NASB version with plenty of study resources in a good binding in one place. At a good price. Now that I've had a little time to work with it, I can say that I am very pleased with this purchase.
Read the manufacturer details for font sizes and especially those of the notes. I can read this 8pt comfortably.
