I love these kits that correspond to the Apologia Science books. They are very well packed and organized. Each lesson's items are in a Ziploc bag (with the exception of items that won't fit in the bag). Everything is clearly labeled & ready to use. There are only a few items you have to find on your own instead of a whole list of things.

When the box arrives, I go through it to make sure everything arrived safely & that everything that is supposed to be included is, and then I arrange the items in lesson order. This makes it easy to grab what you need for each lesson without having to rummage through the whole box again.

Having this all laid out and so well organized makes me much more likely to do the experiments. I'll admit that half of this you could gather easily yourself, but the other half would take more effort and so it's worth it to me to pay for this. I will say that my jello for the 2nd lesson was expired by the time I needed it... but hey... it's a 50 cent pack of jello right? It just meant we had to postpone the experiment until I could get to the store another day. All in all... it's worth the money in my opinion.

So worth the spend for this kit. I hesitated on buying it since I figured I could find/buy the stuff myself but decided in the end that it was worth the time save. And the kit totally exceeds my expectations. It is so well organized - the items for each lab are in a separate bag and labeled. There is an overview sheet which tells you what other items (very few) you will need to provide for a couple of the labs. You won't regret buying this one.
