Breaking the code of the book of Revelation has become an international obsession. The result, according to Hank Hanegraaff, has been rampant misreading of Scripture, bad theology, and even bad politics and foreign policy. Hanegraaff argues that the key to understanding the last book of the Bible is the other sixty-five books of the Bible not current events or recent history and certainly not any complicated charts.
The Apocalypse Code offers sane answers to some very controversial questions:
- What does it mean to take the book of Revelation (and the rest of the Bible) literally?
- Who are the Antichrist and the Great Whore of Babylon, and what is the real meaning of 666?
- How does our view of the end times change the way we think about the crisis in the Middle East?
- Are two-thirds of all Jews really headed for an apocalyptic holocaust?
The Apocalypse Code is a call to understand what the Bible really says about the end times
and why how we understand it matters so much in todays world.
Provocative and passionate, this fascinating book is a must-read for everyone whos interested in end-times controversies.
Lee Strobel, Author, The Case for the RealJesus
This book is a withering and unrelenting critique of the positions of apocalyptic enthusiasts such as Tim LaHaye. Every fan of theLeft Behindseries should read this book. The fog will clear, and common sense will return to our reading of the Bible.
Gary M. Burge, Professor of New Testament,
Wheaton College and Graduate School

Dave BryanUtah5 Stars Out Of 5December 3, 2010Dave BryanUtahQuality: 4Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I have been studying the Book of Revelation and eschatolgy for years. I've given numerous classes in this area. Each time I present the study I continue to find new information by "reading Scripture in light of scripture." Through my own readings of Scripture I have determined there will be no secret coming for the Church and that we, the gentiles, have been grafted to the olive tree making us part of the chosen. I believe we are one people. Hank Hanegraaff does a wonderful job citing scripture to support his argument. There are no personal attacks on any pretribulationist in the book and Hanegraaff does a fine example of rebuking as the Bible would have us do.

Chris Lemons3 Stars Out Of 5April 23, 2010Chris LemonsThis book is not well written, I did enjoy the Bible interpretation teaching and I would whole heartedly agree with it... I just dont agree all of his applications using his own method... Both this book and "Breaking The Apocalypse Code" by Ice and Hitchcock, are more about tearing down the opposing view than proving their own view... Both sides have good points and both have flaws... and both "shout their good points from rooftops" and "sweep the flaws under the rug"... If you would like a much better presentation for not only the "Partial Preterest" view, that actually presents the most regarded opinions of all sides of the argument, I would suggest reading R.C. Sproul's "The Last Days According To Jesus"... It is well researched well written, and doesnt pretend to know ALL the answers, but does acknowledge the problems with both the Preterist and Dispensational view points... Ultimately in the end, this is a secondary issue, and nothing to divide over, we should be more worried about Discipleship and Evangelism, than how it all ends or whose view is the most accurate... And as far as Hank's unchristian like attacks of Tim LeHaye, my theory is this: ... Hank has alot of good dispensational friends, I.E. John McAurther , the Late Adrian Rogers.. etc. Yet he has no such problems with them because they are primarily Bible teachers/preachers who deal with the Bible as a whole... LeHaye seems to be all about Escatology and not much more, he has made endtimes theology his bread and butter, and is very successfull at it, and i think Hank holding the opposite view point feels the need to "call him on the carpet" for that... Unfortunately in a way that is not very attractive to most believers... God Bless You All!!!
