Our church needed new plates and these filed the bill.

These plates do not look like the picture at all. They are a nice quality solid wood, but the stain looked more as if it were painted on and did not pick up the natural beauty of the wood grain. However, the bottom of the plates were not that way and looked nice. We returned these plates and got dark maple finish instead and are happy with those.

This is an offering bowl, not an offering plate. They do not show pictures of the 'bowl' from the side, but if they did, you would see that you have to hold this from the bottom like a bowl---you cannot grab the rim. Very disappointed. If the listing would have contained accurate pictures, I would not have purchased.
