Tell us a little about yourself. I have been a Christian for almost 40 years. I have been married to my husband Jim for almost 50 years. I have an associates degree in biblical studies. Together we have two adult children and six precious grandchildren. I have had a desire to be an author since I was about 9 years old.
What was your motivation behind this project? My grandmother wrote a short story called G I Ant. She wanted to publish her story but she died before her dream came true. My desire for writing was planted in my heart as I spent time with her and listening to her read the stories she wrote. About 10 years ago the Lord gave me the vision for G I Ant Becoming a giant for God.
What do you hope folks will gain from this project? The Bible commands us to take the gospel to the ends of the world. Many children today have never heard the gospel. Others do not realize they need to share their faith. G I Ant brings practical application to the Word of God as children learn to live out their faith. My #1 goal for G I Ant is to see many come to know Jesus as their own
personal Savior and for them to grow in their relationship with the Lord.
How were you personally impacted by working on this project? As i wrote G I Ant I saw how the Word of God can personally impact every area of our lives causing us to become giants for God. I also saw the need to share my faith more and more.
Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know: Helping others come into a personal relationship with Jesus is the most rewarding thing we can do in this life. The words on the pages of G I Ant are inspired by the Holy Spirit to advance the kingdom of God. Help others know Jesus by putting a copy of this book in their hands.
