Cathy5 Stars Out Of 5October 14, 2007CathyMy fifth grade son and I are about one third of the way through this curriculum. It is the best piece of curriculum we own. The way it brings literature, English, and spiritual aspects altogether really makes the effort worth the time put into it. We will never forget this study! (note: fifth grade, for us, was the perfect time for this book.)
Tonya Bemis5 Stars Out Of 5September 18, 2007Tonya BemisMy husband and I have just begun to use this with our 4th-6th grade Wednesday night class at church. They love the story, and we love that the extension activities drive the students to open and use the Word of God, as well as provide for some excellent discussion There is more than we can use with this, but we love the way it is laid out so that we have freedom to choose. So glad we have it!
Q: Are the book study questions on the included CD so I can print them for multiple children to do the study at the same time?
The CD does include printable pages of all "Truths to Ponder," "Digging Deeper," extension activities and illustrations.
Q: What ages? I will have a 2nd, 4th and 6th grader and am leaning towards this for our studies after we finish our history curriculum - will it work for all three?
Yes, this curriculum is designed for families to use together and contains activities for all ages. If you have a child with limited writing skills some work can be completed orally.
