    Tell us a little about yourself.  Troy Lewis is a recent walking miracle (transplant reipient), speaker, and author.     What was your motivation behind this project?  Many people have asked me "What made you decide to write a book?" The answer is really very simple! Imagine for a moment; You have struggled and battled for your life! The odds were always against you and seemed like nothing ever went your way. Just when things looked absolutely hopeless and you didn't stand a chance. Your laying on deaths door step! THEN! 48 Hours later... The God of the universe reaches down (in the most amazing, miraculous way) and hands you the ultimate second chance. Then does the same thing for your brother the very next day!! ALL because a stranger from a 1,000 miles away, was convicted by God to give his kidney away.... I knew all of these things happened for a reason! God revealed afterwards, the reason for the pain, was to bring Hope, the reason for the Hope was to bring the miracle, and the reason for the miracle was to write this book!! God gave me a second chance and with it, THIS STORY! So you see... The answer is simple. I had to write it because God wanted me to. He wouldn't have created such a dramatic story if He didn't want it told. What would you have done?....

    What do you hope folks will gain from this project?  This book really isn't just one persons story of trial - its every ones story, because it's God's story. Through it you will learn to "not give up", that what may seem like a closed door is really just a redirection to something even better. This is a beautiful inspirational book of love, struggles, Faith, and Hope. And when a person is feeling down or lost in their own troubles it will be an excellent resource to read over and over again. It'll make you laugh, cry, hope, reflect, and by the end.. Praise in victory!

    How were you personally impacted by working on this project?  My writing became passionate, because it is was God directed. I was inspired, encouraged, and felt God's greatness; through reliving the amazing experiences that God allowed me to live, as I wrote them down.

    Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists?  I have always been encouraged and inspired by the writings of Max Lucado. His easy to read and high impacting style, has allowed many (non-typical) readers to be blessed. Being one of those (non-typical) readers... I have modeled my writing after his.

    Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know:  How a stranger's kidney saved my life... And my brother's too! A true story that will strengthen faith, build Hope, and renew your belief in miracles! You'll become part of the story as you laugh, cry, hope, and by the end.. Praise in victory "In my darkest moment as I lay on deaths door step, Hope showed up in a miraculous way! A 1,000 miles away, a stranger felt a call to give with nothing expected in return. Little did he know that he had the rarest of kidneys and he would not just save one life.. But two!
