I found out about this book from one of my favorite apologist youtubers and I ordered it right away. I was engaged throughout the entire book and it really gave me insight into how easy it might be to be deceived or give into what others think. After reading this book, I don't feel the need to shy away from questions but rather to find answers and to really understand what I believe and why.

Great book. Only problem I have half way through the book is that in Chapter 6 she discusses the wheat and the tares. I was disappointed with her exegesis of the text. I wish she would have researched it better, especially since Jesus explains the parable if you keep on reading.

This is a must read book for every believer. Childers makes a brlliant case for historic christianity. The deceptions are every where and we must be good Bible students or we will fall for the false teaching that is so popular.

Easy reading to hold your attention. Excellent informative material to keep you from falling into the "progressive christianity " trap.

I read this book after being blindsided myself by progressive "Christianity". I am so thankful I found Alisa Childers. This book was easy to read but packed with the truth and wisdom I needed to stay grounded in my faith and also to contend for it with winsomeness and love.
