Anger and stress are perhaps the two most defining aspects of our world today. There are many ways of handling stress and anger: You can get increasingly angrier and more stressed out, you can resort to drugs and alcohol, you can turn violent, you can retreat into your own world and become cold and distant—or you can react God’s Way!
In Anger & Stress Management God's Way Dr. Wayne Mack, one of the most well-known and trusted Christian counselors of our time, puts his years of experience and Bible knowledge to work for! He teaches you, not just how to handle anger, but the root causes of anger. By doing this, Dr. Mack helps you to better understand why your reactions to stress, and its accompanying anger, are usually the result of “not getting what we think we need.” He then goes on to explain how to restructure your thinking to make your reaction more Christ-like

Particularly useful are the characteristics and products of sinful anger, and how to analyze anger situations, in order to handle them in a godly way. Likewise, the causative stress sources, ungodly responses, and resulting consequences are very useful. Finally, the six factors for the godly overcoming of stress are extremely valuable. This book is a keeper.
Sherrie Ott5 Stars Out Of 5October 3, 2008Sherrie OttThis book is really centered around Scripture and God's call to "die to self" and "learn to give up our perceived rights." Mack calls us to have an eternal perspective in what God may be trying to teach us by our stress and difficult situations. It is very practical in teaching one to renew one's mind using Scripture and have a plan to "put off" our natural way of responding negatively and "put on" the Godly way of responding. I recommend getting his other book "A Homework Manual for Biblical Living" as the first two chapters deal with how to tackle your anger problem personally. It also have a bunch of Scripture references listed for you to look up.
