How to Aim Your Anger in the Right Direction
God, why did you let this happen to me?
We all have times of anger, disappointment, and frustration. But when we aim that anger at God, we end up feeling empty, frustrated, and lost.
Our anger can either destroy us with self-pity, or God can use it to make us joyful.
How do we turn anger into something positive?
In this pamphlet, you will find hope even in the midst of suffering and frustation. Author and speaker Joni Eareckson Tada shows you the right way and the wrong way to deal with anger.
You can find freedom from the bondage of anger. Joni has been there and she shows you the way using biblical principles.
14 pages, full color, glossy plastic coating for durability, 8.5 x 5.5 inches, fits inside a Bible cover.
PIKNIKCanadaAge: Over 65Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5A Grounded ViewpointSeptember 15, 2013PIKNIKCanadaAge: Over 65Gender: femaleMy first expectation was that this pamphlet might contain some great-sounding spiritual platitudes that might not, in the end, jibe with the actual experience of "life-on-the-ground." I was pleasantly surprised at the transparency of the persons in the examples given, who, as one person expressed it, wished to follow, in anger, a different trajectory than merely that of "pasting on a smile." I found this pamphlet to be genuinely helpful, well-grounded in reality: even more, based in Scripture, and, in particular, the Psalms. I would have no hesitation in giving the pamphlet to a suffering Christian friend, since I do not think that the friend would say, "But they don't understand." We are encouraged, in this pamphlet, to see that God meets us where we are, not at some place, where, fictionally, we are supposed to be. Also, there is a small section at the end dealing with the anger that comes from small, daily irritants. Rose Publishing has provided me with an advanced reader copy.
