This is a quality board book with soft, padded cover and is sized just right for young hands. The illustrations by the Italian artist Alida Massari bear strong influence from Italian art masterpieces and a little of the Russian icon art. Beautiful and inspiring.

The book is more complex than a typical child's board book in that it is a compilation of Bible stories in which Angels appeared or played a major roll. The text is simple enough to be read to young children and also for young readers to be able to read for themselves.

Stories included include: Abraham and the Three Visitors, Food For Elijah, Daniel and the Lions, A Surprise Visitor (angel visits Mary), Voices Like Thunder (shepherds in field), Jesus the Children and the Angels, The Best Message Ever (stone rolled away from the empty tomb), and A Place Filled With Angels. As you can see, this is a nice selection that encompases the breadth of the Bible. A grand introduction to the study and understanding of Angels for the young child.

This is a treasure of a little book that young hands should hold and learn from. I recommend!

Ill often tell my children that they have a Guardian Angel watching out for them, especially when theyve done something that should have rendered them injured. This has made them curious to know more about Angels. Angels in the Bible for Little Ones is a great introduction for little ones who are just beginning to explore their faith and want to know more about Angels and what they do.

Angels in the Bible for Little Ones by Allia Zobel Nolan is a board book for children that introduces them to the Angels we read about in the Bible. The book covers both the Old and New Testaments, retelling stories of how Angels interacted with Elijah, Daniel, Mary and many others.

The illustrations are beautiful created by Alisa Massari. The colours are rich and each image has a comforting feeling. I love how the author shows the emotion in the faces of each being illustrated. While we dont know exactly what an angel looks like, I like how the author depicts them in a way that is familiar to what my children are accustomed to seeing. The pages are sturdy cardboard, perfect for little hands to hold.

Each story is short, covering about 4 pages. Read one story at a time or the whole book. Each story shares a scripture reference so that you explore each story in more depth. The stories in Angels in the Bible for Little Ones are told so that even the littlest child can understand. They read wonderfully out loud making them perfect for sharing at bedtime or Sunday School.

Angels in the Bible for Little Ones shares the stories of the Angels in the Bible, sharing their messages of love from God. I love how the first story of Abraham and the Three Visitors tells us that while the three visitors looked like men, they were really Angels. This story is a great time to talk to your children about the Angels we may encounter in our own lives.

Angels in the Bible for Little Ones is a wonderful introduction to the Angels that we read about in the Bible.

Disclosure: I received this book free from the publisher through the BookLook Bloggers book review bloggers program. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.

First, the disclaimer. "I was provided a free copy of this book. All opinions are my own." That done, ANGELS IN THE BIBLE FOR LITTLE ONES is a soft-feeling board books for babies and toddlers. It includes the stories of Daniel in the Lions Den, the Angel visiting Mary about Future Baby Jesus's birth, Abraham and the Three Visitors, Food for Elijah, The Heavenly Choir Singing to the Shepherds about Jesus's Birth, The Resurrection of Jesus, John's Vision of Heaven, and more. My youngest daughter finds reading the stories easy and likes to read them to her baby dolls. It is a great book for Christian preschools, day cares, nurseries or for a gift for your favorite baby or preschooler.

    Well-written with beautifully illustrated pictures.
