Author/Artist Review

Tell us a little about yourself.  I've been retired for a year and a half and love being home on the farm with my husband Donald.
Besides writing, I enjoy singing and praising the Lord. My husband plays cello and guitar and we participate in worship at our church.

What was your motivation behind this project?  The movitivation behind this project was the Holy Spirit prompting me that this book had to be written. I can't explain it. People who have read "Angel..." tell me portions of book were written for them. They cry as they struggle through a particular chapter. Circumstances in book seem to coincide with their life. Only the Lord knows the hearts of people that read this story of heartache, faith, courage and friendship.

What do you hope folks will gain from this project?  Healing, hope and comfort for teenagers and adults as they go through the heartache of losing someone close to them.

Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists?  Reading the God's Word has the most influence as well as a source of inspiration. My favorite authors are: Barbara Johnson for her faith and humor Joyce Meyer for her in depth study of the Bible John Bunyan who was imprisioned for his faith for total of 12 years - yet wrote of his love and faith in God. Ex: Pilgrims Progress (classic)

Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know:  This is personal but here it goes. When I wrote the last few pages, I realized writing this story ministered to me. The tears flowed as I forgave myself for how I had treated my father before his massive stroke that disabled him for 15 years until he died. Then I knew - this book can help others too. That was God's plan and purpose.
