My daughter absolutely loves this devotional. She has been working on it for about 2 months, and it is the first thing she does when she gets home from school everyday. The lessons are age appropriate, and easy to relate to. She say she can honestly relate to it. It is amazing from a parents perspective to see my kids enjoy learning and connecting with God! Thank you.

This devotional is great! I have 3 granddaughters, 2 of which fit this category. I love spending time with them in God's Word. This devotional adds depth and understanding in such a way that makes sense to my girls, so that when our time is over, I know they go back to their daily lives knowing more about God and Jesus Christ...and their RELATIONSHIPS with Him than they did before we started! In today's society, we need all the help with our children we can get, and with a lot of prayer, constant teaching, and the help of God, they will be ok...this devotional has been so helpful! I would highly recommend it! My girls have surprised me quite a bit. Their Armor seems to be heading in the right direction!

I enjoyed the introduction for this book of devotions. They compare the devotional book with growing a garden getting rid of the bugs in your life like TV and the internet. Basking in the sunshine of Gods love and the rain of His blessing as you get ready to grow in Gods garden. Several years ago I did a bulletin board for my fourth grade student using vegetables. Lettuce be kind, obedient; turnip for school on time, prepared; squash bad manners, hurtful words. The analogy is a good one for kids. It offers a hands-on examples of growing as Jesus did. He grew in wisdom and in stature and in favor with God and all the people. Fifty-two weeks of valuable lesson for young girls. Each week the girls have a new bible verse. A short story is followed by Your Turn a couple questions to help them discover things about themselves. Each day ends with a Prayer pertaining to the values taught that day.
