Tell us a little about yourself. I have been walking with the Lord for many decades, and have served in various key leadership roles within the church. I had the priviledge of founding and leading a succesful medical education company for 25 years, God has blessed my career. I've found, however, that it was during my most difficult trials that God grows me the most.
What was your motivation behind this project? Having traveled a journey that included the relatively recent loss of eight family members, the near death of my dear wife in an auto incident, and three personal bouts of cancer, I've learned lessons that not only helped me walk the path, but that changed my life.
What do you hope folks will gain from this project? Too often we look to our circumstances to define our lives. There is, however, a hope and source of joy that rises above our circumstances. God is able to strengthen us, guide us, and grow us in an unprecedented way during painful trials. We cry our tears, but God can grow us in unprecedented ways and bring good out of it.
How were you personally impacted by working on this project? It began with reflective notes and discussions with friends. Then it evolved as I began capturing my journey through writing. I continued to reflect on God's love and provision, and the many lessons learned.
Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know: I have been so encouraged as countless individuals have shared how they have been impacted bybthe lessons God was teaching me. So many have then shared the book with others who are hurting. As a side-note, 100% of any personal proceeds from the book are being donated to the Bible Centered Missions Ukrainian support effort.
