Ron Durham, a real estate developer from Birmingham, Alabama became convinced, and later convicted, that many people are intimidated by the Bible because it is long, oftentimes confusing and can be difficult to understand and process. Many don't even know where to begin...so they don't. Durham set about to produce an easy reading 'big picture' snapshot of the Bible by focusing on God's Word as basically a book of stories.
