What was your motivation behind this project? Knowing God and hearing His voice changes is life changing. One unsuspecting morning I experienced the unveiling of the understanding that God had spoken to me. He said four words: "Anchor Me in You." That encounter began a powerful place of awakened perspective in my life. As time went on, I understood God was leading me to write a book sharing my experiences that would help others cultivate a steadfast, authentic walk with Him - and He had already given me the title.
What do you hope folks will gain from this project? For people to personally experience God alive in their daily lives! Anchor Me In You contains relatable experiences and practical steps to illustrate and apply in our personal journey. We can learn to discern God's voice speaking into our life's situations, relationships, hopes and dreams.
How were you personally impacted by working on this project? The Lord led me to write this book and soon afterward confirmations came prophetically through others who did not know me or that I was writing a book! Anchor Me In You is part of the work God has for my path and the day I clicked "send" to the publisher for printing was a celebration simply because I knew it was accomplishing what God directed. I am thrilled with the book's wide scope of distribution and the amazing insights and experiences readers have told me the book has given them.
Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists? I am incredibly inspired when I hear about someone walking in their destiny. Anything I can do to help in that process for someone is incredibly fulfilling to me.
Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know: This life is short, a vapor, so pursue your relationship with God and He will fulfill His purposes for your life and those He connects you with. That is the freedom and fulfillment we were always meant to walk in.
