Publisher's Description

Ruchti delivers an emotional tale that embodies all the grace and giving that fans of Christmas stories love. -- Publisher's Weekly Both in their eighties, Dodie and Wilson Binder celebrate every Christmas as if it were their last. This year, their only grandson, Micah, asks his girlfriend, Katie, to marry him -- in front of the whole Binder family. But things go terribly wrong when she says no. Now Katie is stuck. Too many people, too much snow, and too little room should be a recipe for disaster. But, sometimes too much is just enough. Especially, when it's Christmas. Will Katie let herself love and be loved before it is too late? When I see Cynthia Ruchti's name on a book I know I'm going to be challenged, uplifted, encouraged and charmed. -- Debbie Macomber, #1 New York Times best-selling author In An Endless Christmas, the characters walked right off those pages and into my heart, setting up residence and bringing along all the joy and peace they had learned. I love Christmas novellas and this one is now in my top three of favorites through the years. -- Lauraine Snelling, award-winning, best-selling author of more than 80 books, including An Untamed Heart With her trademark wit and keen insight into what makes love last, Cynthia takes us on a jovial ride through the pages of An Endless Christmas. You'll smile a little all along the way. -- Robin Jones Gunn, best-selling author of Finding Father Christmas

A family that has it right, a family that knows the true meaning of Christmas, and this story shows in more way than one that the Binder family knows why we celebrate.

Micah has brought the woman, Kate, that he believes will be his soul mate, and cant wait and doesnt to pop the question. Kate over whelmed and carrying her own baggage says No.

Micah is about to get a little help from all of his family, and Kate is about to be overwhelmed, but before we are finished you will wish that you were a member of this family. Everyone including the children seem to know that Jesus is their savior and the reason we have Christmas.

This is a wonderful warmhearted read, and as you turn the pages and think it cant get any better, it does. I highly recommend this wonderful Christmas read it will bring you joy, even with a second read.

I received this book through Litfuse Publicity Book Tours and was not required to give a positive review.

I enjoy reading Cynthia Ruchtis online devotions, so was looking forward to reading this novel. While it had the same excellent writing and spiritual insight her devotions had, I didnt enjoy it as much as Id hoped. To start with, I felt like Id been dumped in the middle of something as Katie Vale doesnt accept her boyfriends marriage proposal, made in front of his entire extended family on the first day of their week-long Christmas celebration (we then backtracked, which made me wonder why we didnt start with the backtrack and move forward).

There was also Katies personal insecurities which led her to turn down Micahs proposal, and her unwillingness to talk about them:

It frustrates me when I read a novel about a conflict between people that goes on and on when all they need to do is sit down and talk to each other for a few minutes. And listen to each other.

I agree. This bugs me as well. So why did it take until the halfway point in An Endless Christmas for Katie and Micah to have this conversation? The other thing that bugged me was the Binder family: there were so many of them it became difficult to keep them straight, and they were too perfect. Yes, I know they werent actually perfect, but even their imperfections seemed perfect, which meant it didnt ring true for me.

However, there were things we can all learn from the Binders, even if they are a little too perfect. The importance of family. The importance of God in our lives. The importance of finding joy where we are, of finding delight, of being satisfied with what we have.

Dodie and Wilson Binder host Christmas for the whole family at their homestead. This year has the arrival of grandson Micahs girlfriend. As soon as they are in the door, Micah proposed to Katie and that sets the stage for the story. Katie says no. Health emergencies and weather mean that everyone, about 20 people, are stuck together for the holiday week. Yikesa refusal of marriage and 20 not-to-be in-laws. Dodie and Wilson, along with the other wise adults of the story, help Micah and Katie examine their relationship. There are great lessons in this novella.

An Endless Christmas by Cynthia Ruchti is a cute Christmas romance novel. Katie Vale is going home with her boyfriend, Micah Binder for Christmas. As soon as they get through the door of his grandparents home, Micah proposes to Katie. Katie, who had received a text on the way to the home from the airport, says no. Now this could make for an awkward Christmas if it wasnt the Binder family. Why does Katie not want to get married? Did the text she receive having something to do with her answer? I think Christmas with the Binders will be a life altering experience.

I found An Endless Christmas to be a delightful story. It is a charming story with very likable characters. The Binder family is a large, loving family. I, personally, would go crazy with so many people in one house (and I would never consider a window seat a bed which is where Katie got to sleep). However, it is lovely to read about such a heartwarming, Christian family. I give An Endless Christmas 4 out of 5 stars.

I received a complimentary copy of An Endless Christmas from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

I absolutely loved Cynthia Ruchti's An Endless Christmas!

Everybody loves the Christmas season, right? Not Katie, who comes from a long history of dysfunctional family relationships. She goes home with Micah to meet his family and is thrown for quite a loop when he proposes in front of the entire clan. She said no. To her utter astonishment, Micah and his family continue to show her love; but she told him no, shouldn't they be angry with her?

Read An Endless Christmas to find out how one family lives out the heart of the Christmas story, daily.

"Because of our God's deep compassion, the dawn from heaven will break upon us, to give light to those who are sitting in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide us on the path of peace."
