'An Amish Love' is a compilation of three Amish novellas by Beth Wiseman, Kathleen Fuller, and Kelly Long. I enjoy reading Amish fiction, and this book was a treat! I have read each of these authors before, and they did not disappoint in this book.

There is a glossary of Amish terms at the front of the book, and then the first novella is 'A Marriage of the Heart' by Kelly Long. This is a sweet story about Abigail Kauffman and Joseph Lambert, who were forced into a sudden marriage. The story follows them as they struggle to find love in their relationship.

The second novella is 'What the Heart Sees' by Kathleen Fuller. Ellie Chupp was blinded in an accident, and her boyfriend left her soon after. When Christopher Miller returns to town after a five year absence, a new romance begins.

'Healing Hearts' by Beth Wiseman is the final novella in 'An Amish Love'. After a one-year separation, married couple Levina and Naaman Lapp are together again. Will their marriage endure what this separation has done to their relationship?

Along with the helpful glossary at the front of the book, the back of the book has a reading group guide for all three novellas, as well as several Amish recipes. I would definitely recommend this book!.

Author Wiseman, Fuller and Long out did themselves when they wrote this book. Its 3 in 1 but all the stories come together to make it 1. You want be able to put the book down. It will be one you will reread many times. If you buy any books this is a must. It was an enjoyable read and you get so caught up in the book that you feel as if you are giht there encouraging them one, It would be nice if you could buy more books that have the complete series in them. Excellent job way to go.

Have you ever been in a bind and needed a fast way out? Maybe not an easy way, but you definitely needed to change your situation? In "A Marriage of The Heart" that very thing happens to Abigail Kauffman. Through certain circumstances, she finds herself married to Joseph Lambert and having to adjust to her new way of life, and not necessarily the easy life she was hoping for! Can Abigail and Joseph both put their past behind them and fully embrace the future God intended for them?

Living the last 5 years without her sight, Ellie has learned to adapt, but wishes her Mother would treat her the same as before the accident. "What the Heart Sees" tells the tale of Ellie Chupp and Christopher Miller. Never in his wildest dreams did Chris expect a homecoming like he receives. Having left the community 5 years ago, he expected things to have changed while he was gone. But, really? Did it have to include his sister being engaged to Isaiah? With Ellie's help, Chris has many things he needs to work through. Along the way, Ellie may just get the very thing she has been longing for.

Have you ever felt the temptation to just run away? To leave all your responsibilities behind? In "Healing Hearts", Naaman Lapp has been absent for the past year. His wife, Lavina, has been taking care of their Amish farm with the help of their adult children. Does Naaman think he can just step back in to his former life and that the forgiveness of his people will come as easily as they teach? Forgiveness does comes easy for some, but for others, it's a long road of hard work. Nothing the Amish aren't use to. In the end, can Naaman and Lavina find their way back to that courting love they had some 30 years ago?

I cannot express how much I enjoyed these 3 novellas! Although I didn't use it, there are discussion questions included at the end of the book for each story. I also love the fact that there are Amish Recipe's listed in the book as well.

My rating for the book? 5 stars out of 5! What does that mean? It's definitely a go out and buy right away book....especially if you love a good Amish Romance or two!

I've just completed reading "An Amish Love: Three Amish Novellas," written by Beth Wiseman, Kathleen Fuller, and Kelly Long. It's not a short book - nearly 400 pages. I've had it in my possession for about a week now. Today, I told myself to stop procrastinating and just read it already.

You guys...I read it in an entire sitting. Entire. Sitting.

It is three stories crammed into one book binding, and they're all so good. The first, "A Marriage of the Heart," by Kelly Long tells the story of a spirited young girl named Abigail Kauffman and a handsome, but puzzling Joseph Lambert. Long's telling of the intense love affair between the two is quick paced, and unconventional. There are so many quirks and twists along the way, and I was terribly sad to see the story finished. I found myself wanting desperately to know more about this spitfire Abby Kauffman and her lovely future.

The second story, "What the Heart Sees," by Kathleen Fuller, was a spiritual journey like no other. Ellie Chupp is blinded in an accident five years prior to the start of the story. Slowly, she's rebuilt her life and has begun a successful business. Admittedly, there are a few things lacking, but she soldiers on, knowing that God has a plan for her. A plan indeed. Christopher Miller has returned home after five years. He's spent five long years away from the fold because of a massive heartbreak. God has called him home. I would call this story delightfully predictable. I felt like I could sense the end of the story before I came to it, but I loved reading it nonetheless. Fuller does what any wonderful author does, though...she throws a twist in at the end that will leave me blindsided for days.

The final story, "Healing Hearts," by Beth Wiseman tells the story of two seasoned Amish lovers, Levina and Naaman Lapp. Goodness. How often do we find ourselves struggling with the idea of running away? How often do we find ourselves questioning whether or not the grass is greener on the other side? Wiseman's beautiful and eloquent language sheds light on some of the toughest questions married couples face daily. Naaman Lapp leaves his wife, Levina for a whole year - without explanation. Levina's heartbreak is palpable...and very real. The idea of God's message and His will is never more powerful than in this short story. And as with the other two, Wiseman's twist at the end really proves that He has a plan for us all.

I found the book to be very...complete. The characters are interwoven throughout the book, which lends an interesting view. It's authentic - real, and very thought-provoking. In the beginning, I was a little weary, having never read Amish literature before. It turns out though, that in the end, it doesn't really matter. The problems the characters faced in these three novellas are problems we all face on a daily basis. I loved it from start to finish.
