Debbie WilderSalinas, CAAge: 55-65Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5An amazing adrenaline rush romantic suspense novel!December 27, 2017Debbie WilderSalinas, CAAge: 55-65Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I absolutely love the main characters in this wonderful book! The baggage that both Irene and Paul are carrying is understandable and I was really hoping to see them move beyond it and admit to how they felt. Mary is a sweetheart and I wanted to just wrap her up in a big hug and protect her myself.
The plot of the story is fantastic. We were let in on the information of who the bad guys were fairly early on. But WOW! The details about the depth of danger they were in, was built upon throughout the book! I was caught up in the story hook, line, and sinker! There was no way that I would be able to put this book aside for something else until the bad guys were caught and everyone was safe again.

She soon finds herself being run off the road and barely escapes with her life. To top it off, she's rescued by the man she tried hard to forget. They discover an Amish child hidden in the back seat of Irene's car and stumble onto an abduction ring.
Police Chief Paul Kennedy is shocked to find the woman in the car is his long lost love, but he can't let her know the secret of why he abandoned her years ago. He tries hard to keep her and the toddler safe, but they're hit with explosive threats around every corner.
Can Irene and Paul stop this abduction ring before the ring grab another child or Irene is killed? Will they let go of the past and admit their growing feelings for each other? Find out in this Christmas tale.
Amish Christmas Abduction grabs the reader from page one and keeps them in a vice grip until the last page. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and it had me glued. I loved the plot and the lost love angle.
The characters were well written. They jump off the page to the reader. I found myself cheering them both on and biting my nails as they're faced with every obstacle. The little girl melted my heart.
The Christmas time frame and wintery season played well in the plot. I could picture the story as it unfolded in the Amish community. The use of imagery was also very well done.
This is the third book I've read by Dana R. Lynn and I have to say, each novel gets better and better. I will keep watching for this author's next story.
I give Amish Christmas Abduction five Christmas trees. You'll want to curl up by the fireplace to read this one!!

KavRCanadaGender: female5 Stars Out Of 5Great romantic suspenseDecember 8, 2017KavRCanadaGender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I could feel the hairs rise up on the back of my neck in the first chilling scene. Lynn knows how to write malice into her villains and this guy sure was creepy. All menacing glares and out of control anger. Phew! Tension and danger and mystery abound as Irene and Paul find themselves thrust into the crosshairs of a vicious gang of thugs. Their history makes things complicated. The high school sweethearts find themselves disconcertingly comfortable with each other in some ways. But years of separation and misunderstandings have put up walls that seem impossible to scale. Paul's beating himself up over past mistakes. Irene's concerned with protecting her two fatherless sons. Anything developing between them would be complicated with a capital C. Plus there's this relentless maniac with vengeance on his mind...
A thrilling romantic suspense that will draw you in and keep you reading until both the romance and mystery are resolved.
MariIllinoisAge: 55-65Gender: Female5 Stars Out Of 5Christmas Amish SuspenseDecember 5, 2017MariIllinoisAge: 55-65Gender: FemaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5Amish Christmas Abduction was action packed with emotions on alert and tissues needed. This Love Inspired Suspense has true to life characters that bounded out from the start with action continually till the end.
Irene Martello didn't expect to get the wrong address for her home assignment, which resulted with her life being a target by an apparent abduction ring. Police Chief Paul Kennedy could not fathom what was transpiring around LaMar Pond, but he had to protect Irene despite their past history. The threats soon involved Irene's family with security needed at all times. Who's behind all of this? Will Chief Kennedy and his department be able end this kidnapping ring? The research Lynn did for this Amish Country Justice suspense is amazing. The unforeseen action and thinking of the abduction ring were realistic and kept the suspense flowing with this reader in the midst of the action with gripping fear and heart beating faster as I read the intense scenes.
Dana R. Lynn has given readers another emotional story in her Amish Country Justice series. There is action, emotions, children, families, secrecy, romance, faith and God's grace and mercy shown. I highly recommend each one of Lynn's books in this suspense series. Amish Christmas Abduction can be read as a standalone, but readers will enjoy the secondary characters by reading Plain Target and Plain Retribution first.
I received a complimentary copy from the author. I was not required to write a positive review but have shared my honest thoughts.
Trixi5 Stars Out Of 5Kidnapped in Amish country!December 1, 2017TrixiQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5Irene Martello's life just got drastically more dangerous when she knocks on the wrong house door while doing her job as a children's early intervention worker. Getting ran off the road is the least of her problems! Having been called to the scene of the accident, police chief Paul Kennedy also discovers a child hidden in her car. Can they solve the mystery of who the little girl is before it's too late?
This story takes many twists & turns and the puzzle pieces get more jumbled as it progresses! Paul and Irene stumble upon something more sinister with each passing clue and the plot thickens to pea soup consistency. Heightened danger necessitates around-the-clock protection for Irene and her boys. These two also have a romantic past that they need to address head on. Paul had his reasons for leaving, but never shared with Irene. Will he find healing & forgiveness in her eyes if he breaks down the walls of his heart and is honest with her? Having been married to a police officer who died three years before, will she open up to love again, especially to the chief? Her boys AJ and Matthew added their own personality and whimsical nature to the story. Even though this is the third in the series, it can stand alone fine. Although for me, I've been looking forward to Paul's eventual happily-ever-after, I'm so glad the author wrote his story!
Forgiveness, second chances in both love and faith, heart-pounding suspense, and high adrenaline scenes all mash up to bring the reader an exceptional book in the Amish County Justice series by Dana R. Lynn!
