Tell us a little about yourself. I am now officially a senior citizen with lots of experience in this life on planet earth. But I'm looking forward to the next level. I cherish family and the church community with my eternal brothers and sisters. I love Bible & history study.
What was your motivation behind this project? I wanted to leave some history of America's founding, and original purpose for my family based on my travels and research. Almost all of the nearly 50 photos were taken by me. Some people are trying to erase America's true history, I tried to capture it warts and all in this book.
What do you hope folks will gain from this project? America, like each one of us has our good side and not so good side. Truth is hard to come by today. I did my best in a few pages to capture the good, bad and even the ugly. Our Founders were a mixed group of men and women. The influence of the Bible on those who came here to "form a more perfect union" was evident from the start. Some drifted away to follow a cult, the pseudo-religion called Freemasonry.
Jesus can be found in this book and across this land, despite the relentless attacks on His active work in the founding of America. But the foundation is shaking today as it has in the past. The reader will find his or her way back to the Solid Rock foundation.
How were you personally impacted by working on this project? Often standing on the very ground, and in the homes of George Washington and John Adams inspired me to learn more. The book includes many of these sites and my reaction to that experience.
Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists? Jesus Christ is the most influential person in my life. The Bible is about Him from beginning to the end. History is His-story. He is writing your story too.
Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know: If you read this book you can refute the lies being spread about America. You will know we are not called to a civic religion, and a foundation, as solid as a rock can be shaken. Matthew 7:24-27.
