I was so happy with this whole curriculum package! We didn't use the Lesson Review for every lesson, but it was a great tool for tests and helped my daughter to retain the information from many of the lessons. It was helpful to have so many resources to chose from on hand to help her learn!

If you are doing a completely open-book testing system, this book will work fine, but if you intend to use the quizzes to test your child's knowledge without the use of the textbook, this book is quite frustrating. The quizzes are back to back, so for instance, quiz 17 can be flipped over and the child will see quiz 18 as well. So, if you don't want your child to know what's on the quiz ahead of time, you'll have to reproduce each page separately. The pages aren't perforated, so even tearing them out to copy the quiz onto its own page is aggravating. While I love the America the Beautiful textbook, the layout of this supplemental book is very disappointing. Furthermore, the quizzes seem rather simplistic with mostly multiple choice answers. I intend to add scripture memory and vocabulary words to the test for an overall grade, but this is all extra work for me. Very disappointing.

    Great Workbook
    August 27, 2014
My 13 year old has been doing America the Beautiful curriculum but I wasn't sure if he was really learning what he was reading. So, I purchased the Workbook and we started going back over the lessons he had completed. It was a profitable use of our time. The workbook helped to reinforce some of the content and the Quizzes gave him an opportunity to show us, by way of high scores, what he had learned.
