Tell us a little about yourself. I was born and raised in West-Central Louisiana to a work-at-home Mother and a Bi-Vocational Baptist Pastor Father. I came to Christ at an early age but faced some struggles in my life that challenged my faith and ultimately threatened my future ministry. But The Lord is Faithful, and brought me full circle (by His Grace) and confronted me with my commitment to Christ and the ministry He has called me to. Now I pastor a small rural Baptist Church near Huntsville, Tex. and write and teach.
What was your motivation behind this project? I love my Country! The Lord has truly given me an insight into the dangerous road America is headed down. Many are the outward issues that America has, but the true central issue is the heart of each American. THIS is where the true battle is! ALL of America's troubles find their root in the HEART! The book explains.
What do you hope folks will gain from this project? My hope and prayer is that Americans will take heed and return to the Lord and bring America back to her true roots, that is the Judeo-Christian Ethic as our basis of living and governing ourselves.
How were you personally impacted by working on this project? My life is much richer and the Lord more dearer than ever before in my life.
Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists? One of the greatest influences is my own Father, Hall H. Prewitt. He brought me up to love the Word of God and taught me my work ethic (being raised in an agrarian lifelstyle). Dr. Jerry Falwell, later became my Pastor and Mentor (I attended Liberty University) and taught me the importance of standing up and speaking publicly what God has put in my heart, even in the face of those that oppose a preacher addressing political issues. We MUST address the issues of the day in the light of Biblical Principles.
Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know: I must and I will continue to speak and write to bring Honor and Glory to the Lord Jesus, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. He IS coming back to reclaim His own.
