jeffkentuckyAge: 18-24Gender: Male4 Stars Out Of 5Pretty good.November 7, 2015jeffkentuckyAge: 18-24Gender: MaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 3This book pulls from a number of different commentators to resolve alleged discrepancies and does a pretty good job of it. It touches on large scale doctrinal points as well as smaller number/word/history issues. Sometimes, however, the resolutions are lacking and I find myself critiquing the proposed solution; in this sense, it works great as an apolagetics brainteaser! This is often the case when issues with the Law and other parts of the bible are concerned because the author never (that I can recall) points out that the Law "is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient (1 Tim)" and thus we shouldn't always expect the Law to reflect something God supports (divorce, etc.). Any book that encourages us to believe God more is great, so I do recommend this book.
