I bought this book in hopes of learning more about the women of The Bible, I was so surprised with the knowledge I acquired in just one reading! This book is quite the information packed paperback!

Having only read the Biblegateway.com devotions that were taken from the book i came to see described beautifully are the women in this reference. The personality of the writers add a flavor that is unexpected and addictive. However, one may tend to disagree with the point of view of the authors from time to time which goes to prove that the reader is in the company of fellow researchers and not experts. Humility is favored highly in the outlook of the writers as they praise the underdogs and bring down the mighty, even if the scriptures praise the mighty in question. There is a colored lens that you will see through peering into the Women of the Bible. However it is a color that is not antagonistic and beckons the readers own opinion to be stated for himself. Which in my book is a great thing.

I'm thoroughly enjoying my book. I prefer hard cover books; that's the only reason I selected "good" for value. I enjoy my daily emails on the Names of the Bible, thus I had to get the book to spend more time on them. Love it, love it, love it! So glad I bought them as a birthday present for myself! :)

Great book Wives, mothers, single women, prophetesses, queens, leaders, villainesses and heroines all are portrayed in rich, thought-provoking detail.

Love Love Love the book...I did not know there were that many women mentioned in the bible. I am happy to have this knowledge. Thank you
